Since ProViz is capable of creating an endless variety of XR projects, you will most likely need to change some Scene Properties to better fit your vision. Once finished, you will also need to visit the Scene Properites to Package your project into a zip file.

You can find the Scene Properties at the top of the Scene Tree.

Scene Type Is a feature we are currently working on. The only working Scene Type other than Default is ARCS. ARCS is used for HoloLens programs.

Controls Type Allows you to switch between Default and First Person. Defualt controls are identical to those used in the Scene Editor--You use your mouse to move the camera view with a decently quick response time to interactions. First Person controls puts the camera view in a fixed position, moving your mouse will control the camera view, clicking in a direction will move the camera. First Person movement is distinctly slower than Default controls, as it is meant to stay in the fixed camera position.

Lighting

Enviornment Lighting Map Attatches an HDR file to reference for optimal lighting. An HDR file includes more color information, this makes an HDR a useful tool to acheive a more realistic look in your scene.

Toggle Physically Correct Lighting on when using multiple lighting elements. By toggling this setting on, the Scene will process color differently, giving a more reaslistic look.

By Default your Scene will have a white Ambient Light set to 1. I recommend changing these settings before adding another Ambient Light element.

Environment

Background Color By defualt is set to white. Select the color picker to alter the color. The color of the background will not affect the lighting of models in your scene.

tip

Change your scene's background color to better see your elements and depth models.

Show Floor adds a plane to your scene which stretches the width of your file.

You can toggle on Fog, which adds a vinette effect in the background. Select your Fog's color by clicking the white circle. To select where the Fog will be visible, move the sliders for Fog Near and Fog Far. The Fog will appear between the two values selected--If your Fog Near is set higher than your Fog Far it will give an unappealing look.
